Joseph S. Greilach, CPA (Partner)

Joseph was born and raised in Barrhead, AB. He grew up on a family farm where he learned a number of life lessons and is very grateful for that. Joseph has volunteered with Barrhead Minor Hockey, Barrhead Minor Baseball, Barrhead Golf & Country Club - Men’s Night, and also helps organize the Senior Men’s Baseball team in Barrhead.

Joseph moved to Edmonton after graduating high school in Barrhead, to complete his post-secondary education. He graduated from the University of Alberta Bachelor of Commerce program in 2008 and articled with Pennock Acheson Nielsen Devaney Chartered Accountants of Edmonton in order to receive his Chartered Accounting Designation in 2011. He moved back to his hometown of Barrhead in 2011 to work with local chartered accountant Jeffery Toivonen and is very thankful for Jeffery’s mentorship and giving him the opportunity to take over the accounting firm. Joseph is very happy to be practicing in his home community of Barrhead.

In Josephs's spare time he enjoys traveling with his wife and children, spending time with family and friends, helping out on the family farm, golfing, playing hockey and baseball, and skiing.

Bradley G. Lussier, CPA (Partner)

Brad was born in Manitoba but moved to Barrhead with his family at a young age. After graduating High School in Barrhead, Brad went on to complete a Combined Laboratory and X-ray diploma and work in the healthcare field. In 2011, Brad decided to make a career change and he attended the University of Alberta where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2014.

Brad articled in Vegreville with Wilde & Company Chartered Professional Accountants and received his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2017. Immediately after receiving his designation, Brad began the In-Depth Tax program offered by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. This education was accompanied and enhanced by the practical experience he received while working as a Tax Manager with Wilde & Company Chartered Professional Accountants. Brad has experience in succession planning, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, and many other areas of personal and corporate income tax.

Brad joined Joseph S. Greilach Professional Corporation in the summer of 2020 and enjoys being back in the Barrhead community. Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and children, which includes playing hockey on their outdoor rink, and golfing.

Jeffrey T. Toivonen, CPA

Born and raised in Barrhead, Alberta, Jeff attended the University of Alberta for his Bachelor of Commerce and articled with Clarkson Gordon (Ernst & Young) while getting his Chartered Accountant designation. He began practicing in Barrhead in 1988.

Jeff has been involved in numerous community activities ranging from coaching hockey and serving as the president as well as other positions with the Barrhead Minor Hockey Association, president of the Barrhead Golf Club, chairman of St. John’s Lutheran Church, treasurer of Misty Ridge Ski Association as well as other advisory positions with Barrhead community groups. He believes deeply in preserving the economic viability of rural Alberta and its agricultural, resource, construction, and service industries and maintaining the Alberta way of life.

Jeff spends his spare time golfing, skiing, hiking, biking, hunting, and traveling with his wife and four children.

Jeff has extensive experience in providing financial statements, advisory, and tax services to owner-manager corporations in the agricultural, oil and gas service industries, construction, retail, and other rural businesses.

Blake D, Rogerson, CPA, CA

Blake Rogerson was raised on a family farm just outside of Barrhead, Alberta. After graduating from high school in Barrhead, Blake attended the University of Calgary where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2013.

After graduation Blake moved to Vegreville to article with Wilde & Company Chartered Accountants. Blake spent over seven years working with Wilde & Company, where he received his CPA designation in July of 2016. In January of 2021 Blake decided to return to Barrhead and take a position with Joseph S. Greilach Professional Corporation, and is excited for the opportunity to be back in his home town.

Blake specializes mainly in the agricultural sector and has a wealth of personal and professional knowledge in this field along with experience in other areas of personal and corporate accounting.

When he is not at the office, Blake enjoys helping on his family farm, golfing, playing baseball and playing hockey. Blake previously enjoyed spending time volunteering with the Rotary Club of Vegreville and he looks forward to getting more involved in the community of Barrhead in the future.
